Unless otherwise stated ALL recipes:
(a)Make 23 litres of wonderful beer.
(b)Are in metric and temperatures in centigrade.
(c)Start with 7.6 litres of boil water.
(c)Start with 2.7kgs of malt extract.
(d)Have a rolling boil time of 60 minutes with the lid on.
(e)Use hop pellets.
(f)Show IBU calculations for cones. See BITTERNESS UNITS. This is very important.
(g)215ml dextrose for priming bottles. This equal to 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/4 flat metric cups or about 160gms. Any another amounts you can work out from this.

Example of Hop Additions:
(a)Boiling hops = 60 mins
(b)Flavour = example: 45 mins is the time after the start to add; for 60 mins boil time this will equal 15 mins in the pot.
(a)Aroma = Steep for 2 to 3 mins with the pot off the heat.
