Honor Venning Library

The Honor Venning Library in Perry House is open from 1 - 3 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month, with the exception of January. You are welcome to come and browse our collection of books on plants.

Friday July 31, 1 pm: Starting a native garden workshop at the Australian Native Nursery, 141 King Rd, Oakford. Bookings essential due to limited places. Call Linda on 0427 419 729.

Darling Range

Herbarium meetings on the 2nd Sunday of the month from 10 am.
Locally guided walks March through to November: meet at the Lesmurdie Guide Hall on the 4th Sunday of the month at 10 am. Note: Contact Lynda in advance to confirm (see the Branches page for contact details).

Eastern Hills

August 14 - 16: Wildflower excursion to Watson's Way, Muckinbuddin.

Saturday September 5: visit to Paruna Sanctuary.

Northern Suburbs

November 7: Plant Sale at Landsdale Farm School, Evandale Rd, Darch.

Free monthly guided nature walks each month with the exception of January, approx 1 hour long, starting at 8am. See seasonal changes in plant & animal life in your bushlands.
