March Tues.18th Society 50 th Anniversary Breakfast. 7.30am Tamala Room, Ecology Centre, Bold Park, Floreat. Management Committee Including invited guests. An opportunity for public servants/CEO's etc to attend before heading for work. RSVPs essential to office .
March Sat. 29th for Sun 30th guided tour. Hi Vallee Farm, Lesueur, to experience Banksia and related flora. Banksia candoleana (magnificent). B. menzeii & B. grosser. 4 DRF & 40 priority species. Lesueur

Joy warns of hot, sandy days, but members may consider the discomforts worthwhile in order to experience this unique area at this special time of year. RSVPs essential to Don & Joy ((08)96523035). June 30th Steve Hopper, Director of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew UK : A Half Century of Extraordinary Discovery: wildflower science in WA since 1958 Northern Suburbs 7.30pm at Edith Cowan University, Joondalup Campus (Lecture theatre 19.141 - follow the signs from Lakeside Drive entrance to ECU).
