Columbian Wyandottes

Columbian Wyandottes are very popular in both bantam and Large fowl form. Excellent numbers are bred in Australia and they are our second most favoured colour variety.

In recent years there has been a steady increase in the numbers of both
large and bantam Buff Columbians.

BANTAMS: The Columbian is excellent in both type and quality. They can occasionally press our good white birds for the honours at shows. Numbers as large as 70 or 80 birds have been seen recently at our major shows.

LARGE FOWL: Kept in good numbers good exhibition birds can be seen every so often. Not as popular as the bantams but have a good following in Australia.
