Left: - Ulverstone Lighthouse?
Unfortunately not, however this was once a navigation beacon
situated in the foreshore of the Leven River Mouth. After some land reclamation in the 1930’s
this site became part of the Ulverstone Show Grounds and so the beacon was
then relocated to the Ulverstone Local History Museum.
Below and Right: - A portion of the delightful scenery to be found along
the Tamar River in Northern Tasmania.
Right: - Convict Barracks (Highfield Bluff, Stanley) built from
1834 and occupied from 1836 by 20 convicts assigned to Circular Head
locality.
