Course Objective

To provide attendees with the necessary knowledge to identify HS&E risks and to construct and audit a HS&E management system - fulfils the educational requirements of RABQSA auditor certification scheme.

 

 Target Audience

 Company HS&E officers, regulators and consultants who need to conduct audits of  HS&E Management System and/or are seeking Certification as a H&S or Environmental Auditor.

 

 Details

·      5 day duration.

·      Certified by RABQSA as an approved course to gain auditor certification.

·      Examinable course (2.5 hours).

·      Course administered jointly by VCEC and Chisholm Institute of TAFE

·      Course notes and reading material provided for study and future reference.

·      Chisholm TAFE Certificate of completion showing RABQSA course competency units presented upon successful completion of the course exam.

·      Students qualify as RABQSA Certified Provisional Auditors for both H&S and Environment.

·      Maximum of 12 students per session.

 Target Audience

Company environment officers and consultants who need to develop and implement H&S and/or Environmental Management Systems in an organisation, quality auditors requiring a H&S and/or environmental “bridging” course .

 Details

·      2 day duration.

·      No examination.

·      Course administered jointly by VCEC and Chisholm Institute of TAFE

·      Course notes and reading material provided for study and future reference.

·      Chisholm TAFE Certificate of attendance presented upon completion of the course.

·      Minimum of 8 students required per session and a maximum of 20.

Course Objective

 

The course provides attendees with the ability to identify HS&E risks in the workplace and provide an understanding of both H&S and environmental legislation.

 Target Audience

Company HS&E officers, internal systems auditors, workplace HS&E representatives. The course is conducted on the company’s own site.

 Details

·      1 day duration.

·      On-site training only for groups of 8 to 12

·      VCEC administered course (VCEC Certificate of Attendance provided upon completion).

·      No examination.

·      Course notes and reading material provided for study and future reference.

 $310/student + GST on the client's site (travel expenses etc. past on at cost)

Course Objective

 To provide participants with an awareness of HS&E requirements, legislative requirements, the presence of risks in the workplace and appropriate responses to minimise these risks.

 Target Audience

Industry management, supervisors and operators. The course is tailored to the client’s specific needs and the attendees responsibility level. The course is presented on the client’s own site.

·      4 hours duration (includes 1 break).

·      Course tailored around core components for each individual client (maximum of half day fee for amendments and additions).

·      No examination.

·      Administered by VCEC.

·      Course material notes provided to participants.

·      VCEC Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.

·      Minimum of 8 attendees and a maximum of 20

 Costs

 $A210/student + GST (travel expenses etc. past on at cost) for presentation of 1 session per day

 $A170/student + GST (travel expenses etc. past on at cost) for presentation of 2 sessions per day

 Negotiable fee for more than 4 training sessions, or for several course types.
