About the Artist, Jean Herzel A lifetime resident of the U.S. Pacific Northwest, Jean has always found the natural beauty of her surroundings an inspiration in her artwork. She is recognised for her fine watercolours which are now sought by collectors. Many works have been exhibited in shows throughout the United States. Jean is also known for her accomplishments as a book illustrator. Her compositions are elegant, and her style is detailed and stunningly lifelike. Inspired by the wildlife and indigenous cultures of Australia, she decided to create these distinctive Australian dancers to share with the ballet community of Australia. Jean hopes they will bring you pleasure and a smile. |
