A Kenyah figure from Sarawak is standing on a plinth with feet apart,
arms hanging from broad shoulders with hands in front of the lower body.
The figure also has a heart-shaped face with small triangular eyes,
an open mouth, large "C"-shaped ears and a dark matt patina.
The figure is carved from wood, has a height of 320mm,
width of 110mm and a depth of 65mm.
Advise was that piece was collected from the field in 1992.
It was acquired in Kuching in 1995 from a tribal art gallery.
These figures are used to protect the longhouse against evil spirits.
