5/12/2004: Empress Canyon

After exiting Du Faur Creek Canyon early up Joe's Canyon because of thunderstorms, we headed back to wentworth falls. It warmed up nicely so we had a play in empress canyon. The recent rain had washed down lots of sediment so the canyon was full and murky - a bit of a minefield of rocks and logs. The extra water also made the scrambles and climb-downs a bit more exciting.
