"Whoaaaa... so awesome man!"

[Alvin said that a lot during lessons, A LOT - Felix]

Jon

Jon

A past student of Felix’s and a current member of FurDjango, Jon Teo was classically trained on the guitar, became actively involved in rock and pop bands and later developed an interest in jazz, with a Brazilian flavour. Shortly after attending a JGW performance by Felix and Alvin, Jon decided to study under Felix and has since gone on to undertake various musical projects.

“Felix’s approach to jazz guitar education is unique in its simplicity. Its highly practical approach, emphasis on performance and opportunities presented by Felix to 'work in the field' has enabled me to swiftly mature in the style.”

Yuta

Yuta

A current member of FurDjango, Yuta Hirose hails from Nagoya Japan. Having been actively involved in rock bands, including the Japanese rock band Kloud, Yuta fell in love with the sound of French gypsy jazz guitar pioneered by Django Reindhart and has developed a real affinity for the style.

"My guitar life has changed since I started Felix's JGW course. Many songs that I used to see as complicated are now so easy. Felix's lessons and his approach to teaching the concepts of jazz has opened a whole new world to me. I enjoy playing guitar now much more than I ever used to."
