DH31 is the 2 ft 6 in (762mm) gauge Puffing Billy Railway's biggest non-steam locomotive.

It is ex-Queensland Railways DH class No.59, built by Walkers, Maryborough, Queensland.

It displays its 3ft 6in (1067mm) gauge past by towering over the Puffing Billy rolling stock, which makes getting a decent picture difficult! If it were a model, it would be considered out-of-scale.

My favourite picture of DH31, thanks to the wonders of PhotoShop its monstrous proportions in relation to its train is no longer apparent.
