Illustrated here are some photographs of a very strange 3ft 6in gauge track inspection vehicle in the Norwegian Railway Museum, Hamar.

I would be interested in any further information about how these vehicles worked, or of any possible sources of information on such things.

I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like this before.
