Gold Coast Surf Report

The swell is up to two metres and looks really good on the open beaches this morning.

The forecast is for light to moderate NE winds today.

The early wind is a light westerly and the wave conditions are good everywhere.

It is a sunny morning and forecast is for a fine day with, the chance of showers, and a top temperature of 24 degrees celsius.

There is a peaky east swell producing great waves just about everywhere. South Stradbroke is two metres with good early conditions. The northern beaches are up to two metres and there are good peaks right along the strip. Around the sand pumping jetty at the Spit will be the place as the wind picks up from the north later. The central beaches, from Burleigh to Tugun, have waves to two metres that are looking good early. There is a metre plus of swell on the points with waves at Burleigh, Currumbin and Snapper into Rainbow. There are also smaller point waves at Greenmount this morning. Duranbah is a good two metres but it does not like this swell direction. The Tweed Coast has two metres of clean swell with good waves at Kingscliffe and Cabarita before the wind.

It is a good looking morning with some great beachbreaks on offer, especially on the northern end of the Coast.
