Only the Band's current release; "Greg's Storybook of Demo's" is still readily available in "Hard-Copy" form.

Downloads
are currently "Minimal in number" (to say the least). One ! - The Version of Nightmare City released by "Def Records" in 1993 can now be purchased on the "emusic" site (ie www.emusic.com ). More tracks to follow (?)

Below is a list (possibly only for historic purposes) of both Munster Terrace's back-catalogue of releases, and also the contents of the archive containing ALL originals written (and recorded) by Munster Terrace members specifically for Munster Terrace use.
In case you're truly interested; copies of some of the early stuff occasionally surface in places like "Record City Collectables" (Frankston).. plus; "Applestick Records" have been considering making a facility available whereby copies of "The Transition" could be run off as ordered (cassette only), and also thinking about compiling a "Best Of" C.D (1987-1994).
It all depends on demand. Send a 'message'.!!

Munster Terrace RELEASES (Chronologically);

1: ROLLIN / NOISE BOYS.. Single Released September 1988

"Rollin" was chosen as a single despite misrepresenting Munster as a "Pop" Band.  This was due to the Producer (Doug Saunders) insisting that it was commercial enough for possible mainstream radio-play. He was right.. MMM (or EON as it was then known) gave it a couple of airing's, and (to the Band's genuine surprise) it made John Peter's "Top Eight at Eight" in September '88; peaking at number three.
"Noise Boys" was far more representative of what the Band was doing at the time (Hence being included in the first video; which Rollin' wasn't). However this version was done "clean" to compliment the A-Side, and the later version (from "The Transition") is far more preferred by the Band members.

2: LABOUR DAY Mini Album Released December 1989 (Official launch New Years Eve '90)

A "Mini-Album"!  Labour Day was the follow up single (so to speak), but it really should have either been left as exactly that, or a "full" album completed. This finished up a half-way effort that comes across as a little disjoint. A bit like a "sampler" that wasn't followed up.
The Beatles' "Revolution" was included as a token cover; to pay tribute to the Band's "Live Arm" (which had financed the whole project), and with "Don't Tell Me" seeing too much squeezed into too small a space, only "Volcano" remains as a true "Album Style" Album -track.
No "commercial" radio play, but almost every alternative station in the state (including RRR) gave both interviews and aired various tracks as "Munster" travelled the length and breadth of "Vic" selling the odd copy at gigs all across the countryside. All copies were sold fairly quickly, but no real impact was made on "The Industry".

3: REAL HUMAN BEING / ROCK FOREVER.. Single Released August 1991

This represented the opposite end of Munster's sound to "Rollin", though again produced by Doug Saunders, and again achieving recognition in areas expected.
This was the one that took the Band to Sydney for promotional reasons (for the first time) and which also saw them live on MTV (including in Japan!).

4: DEF METAL '93 Compilation CD Released December 1993

"Nightmare City" was recorded for "Def Records" specifically to be included on this compilation; this version is by a different "lineup" of Munster to that which plays on the version that eventually appeared on "The Transition".
Containing tracks by fifteen band's from all over Australia, this CD made it to number- 5 in the "Oz Metal" charts in January '94.
Note: The Record Company (ie: "Def Records") has made this song available for download...

5: MELBOURNE 5 CD Released May 1994

Another compilation CD.. This one by St Andrews Recordings, and featuring five Melbourne Hard-Rock bands.
Munster's tracks: "Nocturn Fever" and "Bad Boy Woman", and again brand-new (now rare) versions of the songs were recorded for the CD, as well as a promotional film-clip for "Nocturn Fever".

6: THE TRANSITION Album Released Late 1994

Released to "tidy things up" just before Munster Terrace" announced it was "going off the road" (indefinitely).. This one contained a mix of tracks recorded at Russell's factory in Cheltenham by two distinct lineups of "Munster Terrace", and ironically; is the closest thing the Band had to an Album (until now).
Tracks: A: Nocturn Fever / Flirt / (Ode to) The Cape [version-1] / Bad Boy Woman / Employee's Anthem / Nightmare City
B: Slice Of Your life / All The way Home / Noise Boys / Storm Of The Eye / Never Stop / Hoodwinked Again / Slice Of You Life (Live)

7: GREG'S STORYBOOK OF DEMOS: Current Release; Still available.. See "Album Page"
