Sutherland Group: How to join and what you get

To join the Australian Plants Society (NSW) click on the following link to download an application form PDF icon, print it out, fill it in and post to the Sutherland Group Treasurer with payment. The address is on the form.

By sending your application through the Sutherland Group treasurer, you will be automatically a member both of the Australian Plants Society (NSW) and the Sutherland Group of the society.

Membership through the Sutherland District Group entitles you to the following publications

Australian Plants

The Society's main publication is the 48 page journal "Australian Plants" which is issued 4 times per year.

"Australian Plants" attempts to strike a balance between articles of practical interest to the average grower and scientific research papers. The journal has built up a high reputation since its first issue in 1959 and is held in many libraries both in Australia and overseas. It's authors include the foremost experts in research into the horticulture and botany of Australian native plants as well as experienced amateur growers.

"Australian Plants" is a 48 page publication in A5 format and is illustrated with numerous colour photographs and line drawings.

Native Plants for NSW

The Australian Plants Society in NSW produces a quarterly journal called Native Plants for NSW. This is an A5 sized black and white journal with information about the district groups and study groups, news about native plants, tips for growing, and propagating native plants.
