Keeping your Software up to Date

The botanical names of the plants may change as botanists reclassify plants and species. Also, information on the Royal National Park and its regulations can be changed at any time by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. As we learn of changes that affect the information presented in this software, we will post details on this web-page. You can download these updates and install them on your computer to keep your version up to date.

General Instructions for downloads

1. Check your version number on the startup screen.
2. If any of the updates below are more recent (higher version number) than the version you have, then consider downloading and installing the update based on the following categories:

3. Click on the download link below for the chosen update.
4. When your browser asks ‘Do you want to run or save this file?’, choose ‘Save’.
5. Use the dialog box to find an appropriate place to save the download.
6. When the download is complete, your browser will give you the option of running the update program.
7. Choose ‘Run’ and follow the prompts once the update installatio begins.

Update v3.1.0 (September 2006)(Recommended)

This update has updated information about some sections of some walks in the RNP that have been closed for environmental reasons.

This update requires that you have RNP CWP V3.0.9 installed on your computer.

Update v3.2.0 (September 2007)(Recommended)

This update offers two new features: the ability to print out the Botanical Information and the ability to print out plant lists.

This update requires that you have RNP CWP V3.0.9 or V3.1.0 installed on your computer.
