Our promotion of the Coastal Plants CD had a great start with our official launch on Saturday 25 November at the Audley Visitor Centre, Royal National Park. John Aitken, then President of the Sutherland Group, thanked everyone who has contributed to the project, Marie Irving spoke of Doug's vision, Ranger Patsy Ross spoke on behalf of NPWS and then Bob Walshe, Patron of the Sutherland Shire Environment Centre, officially launched the CD, followed by morning tea outdoors.
The launch was attended by Sutherland Councillors Ken McDonnell, Bob Spencer, Magdi Mikhail, Jan Forshaw, and MP for Menai, Alison Megarrity. Ralph Cartwright’s photos of the launch are displayed below.
