4 bar intro
Oh Lord, would You show me Your glory?
You know the depth of my disgrace
Like Moses on the Holy mountain
How can I look upon Your face?
You are the Lord, The Lord, compassionate & gracious God
The great "I Am", with faithfulness, abounding love
Oh Holy Yahweh, slow to anger, willing to forgive
You will not let transgression stand
You judge the rebel heart of man
This is the name that God proclaims
This is the glory He displays
This is the name that God proclaims
And I will shout it to the heavens all my days
This is the Glory
4 bar break
You came to earth in veiled glory
Yahweh inside a human face
Bearing the wrath, You won forgiveness
Shattered the curse of my disgrace
You are the Lord, The Lord, compassionate & gracious God
The great "I Am", with faithfulness, abounding love
Oh Holy Yahweh, slow to anger, willing to forgive
You will not let transgression stand
You judge the rebel heart of man
With wrath that burns beyond the grave,
With mercy that forever saves
This is the name that God proclaims
This is the glory He displays
We see God's glory in Christ our Lord
Gracious Saviour, Righteous Judge, Eternal God
This is the name that God proclaims
This is the glory He displays
This is the name that God proclaims
& I will shout it to the heavens all my days
This is the Glory

Lord, You have shown to me Your glory
And I will look upon Your face.

Inspired by a great talk at church recently which focussed my attention on God's respone to Moses when he said "Show me Your glory." Exodus 33:18 What did God reveal? Among other things, it was the glory of His name. Exodus 34:4-7.
