Rejoice, now when you hear the cry, and join us in the call.
Proclaim the glories of our God, Almighty, Lord of all.
Just like the tribes of Israel, the pilgrim tribes who came
To stand within Jerusalem, to praise God's Holy name,
Let us gather as the people of the Lord.
Oh rejoice! We are the temple of our God!
In halls of stone, in fields of green, in houses, tents and lanes,
The temple of our Holy God is gathering in His name.
Come sisters, brother, heed the call: our God is close at hand.
Wherever Christians kneel to pray God's Holy temple stands,
As we gather as the people of the Lord.
Oh rejoice! We are the temple of our God!
Where thousands, hundreds, dozens join, where two or three may come,
God's temple stands, God's people share communion with God's Son.
No more now is God's Holy place bound by geography.
In Christ, behold, the temple rises, built with you and me!

A call to God's temple - His people - to join to praise, adoration and corporate worship.
I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD." Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together. That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to praise the name of the LORD according to the statute given to Israel. Psalm 123:1-4.
In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:21-22.
"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20.
