Vaudeville, Musical Comedy, Opera and High Fashion Modelling led Panda into the fledgling television industry and fame, as both a magazine columnist and an on-camera phenomenon.

In the 1950's and 1960's, her meteoric rise to fame made Panda a superstar, the first female Logie winner and the highest paid woman on television. For more than three years, she appeared nightly on Channel 9's In Melbourne Tonight with hosts Graham Kennedy, Bert Newton, Jimmy Hannan and Panda also hosted the show herself.

Moving to Channel 7 she appeared with international stars, Raymond Burr, Bob Crosby, Jimmy Edwards, Tony Hancock, Guy Mitchell and others, going on to win three more Logies along the way.

Finally as 'Princess Panda', she reached the pinnacle of an outstanding career.
