The stringers are not fitted when installing the stem, they are only there to hold the covers out.
The covers were hard to get on and off and leaving them on gave me some shade while building.
Once the shear is on its nolonger and an easy step getting in and out of the boat.
The boat looks liek a boat with the covers on but its hot inside.
