Most writers will tell you that their work is hard to label. I'm no exception ! Generally I like to create speculative fiction ("What if" stuff), and I love lacing my stories with subversive humour (the best type) and traps that (hopefully) make the reader think. But even I can't see any overall pattern or style to my work.
There's so many ! Where do I start ? Well, the first five are consistently rated as favourites among my readers.

The Beach At Midnight. Jan-Dec
89. 10,000 words. A novelette.
Sandra Manning becomes infatuated with Paul, but Paul is seduced by her
twin sister Cassie, who impersonates Sandra on the beach at midnight. Paul
is confused by Sandra's apparent duality, standoffish by day yet passionate
by night. Paul's effort to resolve the mystery leads the Manning sisters
to confront their small-town past of bashings, incest and murder.

George chose the Mirror ... and regretted it.
Closed Shop. Jun 89. Director editing new film, which
betrays his secret fear.
Get 'em on. Jan 90. The year is 2040. Green party
dictatorship, wearing clothes in public totally illegal.
Kel. Aug 90. Children's story about crocodile who
feels out of place.
Catface. Dec 90. Eerie thriller and tense relationship
drama.
Remembering Rebecca. Jan 92. Prompted by a letter from home, former
country boy remembers the town where he grew up, and his first girl friend.
The Church Of Infinite Tenderness And Love : Sermon One. May 94. Religious satire. The first (and so far, the only) one of a series. Pastor Tim Preston warns his congregation against the dangers of fornication, with the help of two young volunteers. Warning : this chapter contains explicit sex, and highly irreligious attitudes towards same.
