83. Edward Henry⁵ CAPORN (Edward⁴, Samuel³, Joshua² CAPORNE, Edward¹) (#4430) was born in Perth, Western Australia 21 January 1857. Edward died 27 April 1938 in Swanbourne, Western Australia, at 81 years of age.

He married Hannah Prangle WANSBROUGH 1877. (Hannah Prangle WANSBROUGH is #4461.) Hannah was born in York, WA 1861.

244 i. Edith Prangle⁶ CAPORN (#4463) was born in Perth, Western Australia October 5, 1877. She married Eli ASHBY October 2, 1897. (Eli ASHBY is #4046.) eMAIL dated August 2002 I am from the Edward Henry Caporn (Son of Samuel) branch of the tree. Edwards daughter Edith Prangle married Eli Ashby they are my Grandparents. Two weeks ago I went to Perth to celebrate the 150th anniversary of My Grandfathers Grandparents arrival to W.A. Their names were Marry & Enoch BARRATT. The occasion was held at the disused Fremantle prison, it was a great occasion. The Ashbys settled at Wanneroo as well as some of the Caporns. There is now a suburb named ASHBY next to WANNEROO, there is also a Caporn Road at Wanneroo. [Barry Ashby]

245 ii. Amos Albert CAPORN (#4467) was born in Perth, Western Australia 30 January 1881.

246 iii. Alexander James CAPORN (#4465) was born in Perth, Western Australia 19 January 1883.

247 iv. Ada May CAPORN (#4466) was born in Perth, Western Australia 13 March 1887.

248 v. Emily Elda CAPORN (#4468) was born in Perth, Western Australia 25 February 1889.
