30. James Goode⁴ CAPORN (Samuel³, Joshua² CAPORNE, Edward¹) (#4219) was born in Perth, Scotland 1834. James died 16 July 1928 in Perth, Western Australia, at 94 years of age.

He married Sarah TONKIN in Perth, Western Australia, 15 July 1862. (Sarah TONKIN is #4198.) Sarah was born in Cossington, Upper Swan, WA 21 July 1844. Sarah died 30 January 1913 in in South Fremantle, WA, at 68 years of age. Sara Tonkin married James Caporn a baker in1862. Sara died 30th January 1913 at 43 Charles St reet in South Fremantle aged 68 years. Cause of death is stated as "Arsenical poisoning - self administered". The arsenic was recommended for ease of her rheumatic pain. She was buried on 1st February 1913 at the Congregational section of Fremantle Cemetery. James Caporn - son of Samuel Caporn, was born in Perthshire - Scotland, died 16th July 1927 at McLaren St in South Fremantle, he was 93 years old. Cause of death stated as "Broncho Pneumonia, Heart Failure , Senile Decay". He was buried on 18th July 1927 in the Congregational section of Fremantle Cemetery.

James immigrated, 20 August 1842. Destination: Swan River, Western Australia. He was imprisoned in Fremantle, Western Australia, July 1856. William Lawrence, who worked with Samuel Caporn, and James were both gaoled for stealing gold sovereigns in July 1856 after a heavy drinking bout. James for 6 years and William for 8 years. They were given ticket of leave in 1859 and 1860 respectively and were free in 1864.

95 iv. Theophilus CAPORN (#4222) was born in Perth, Western Australia 1867.

97 vi. Ada Elizabeth CAPORN (#4280) was born in Perth, Western Australia 5 March 1870. She married James ANDERSON in Western Australia, 1887. (James ANDERSON is #4281.)

98 vii. Edith Grace CAPORN (#4234) was born in Perth, Western Australia 1873. She married James John MEWS in Perth, Western Australia, 1903. (James John MEWS is #4233.)

99 viii. Georgina Eustace CAPORN (#4235) was born in Fremantle, Western Australia 18 December 1873. She married Kenneth DUNN in Fremantle, Western Australia, 1896. (Kenneth DUNN is #4236.)

100 ix. May Letitia CAPORN (#4237) was born in Fremantle, Western Australia 1876.
