'Indexed' (below) contains 16 A1 digital prints from hand-made slides, plus 300 digital prints ironed onto a life size paper dress These hand-made slides have been in progress for a number of years and number 60.
They are illustrations of the mark under three notions,
1. mark as landscape series
2. heart series
3. 'she' (women one might meet) series
These slides become the photograph, the subject, a role reversal, the process, negatives are the subject matter making the mark a transitory narrative. 'Indexed' hints at the public world of language being inseparable from the private world of belief, intention and desire and further explores physical and tangible systems as integral part of understanding.
