Middle Harbour and the Spit |
This picture is taken from the hill way up behind the Spit Bridge. If you have enough energy left you may want to take the climb, it is one of the best views you can get of Middle Harbour. Here you can see the bridge and the various marinas in the foreground and beyond where you have traveled. The long sweep of beach from Clontarf Reserve leading to Clontarf Point then much further on you can just make out the white dot of the light house on Grotto Point. Beyond that is Middle Head on the southern shore, further on Sydney Harbour then South Head and beyond that the South Pacific Ocean.
