As the track wends its way westward, glimpses of Middle Harbour appear through the trees and beyond Mosman's fine beaches, Balmoral and Chinamans can be seen on the southern shore.

You may also notice "Old man" Banksia trees along the way their gnarly seed pods awaiting the next bush fire to spring them open and scatter seeds all around.

Filtered views along the high track continue as you make your way towards Castle Rock beach.
