The "Disfellowshipping" Message Preached By Chris Brock
At Cairns Christian Centre
(AOG)
Cairns, Nth Queensland, Australia
On Sunday 28 June 1998
Subject: The
Disfellowshipping Of Hughie Seaborn From The Assembly And Warning About
Activities Of Philip Powell
For a title I would suggest:
"Ripped And Torn To Shreds In The House Of Our God"
The Message Begins:
Let's just look at Joshua the 18th chapter, and I just felt the Lord speak to me as I was sitting there this morning regarding this portion of Scripture. And it says there, the whole assembly, verse one, of the Israelites gathered at Shiloh and set up the tent of the meeting there and the country was brought under their control but there was still seven Israelite tribes who had not received their inheritance. The whole assembly of the Israelites gathered at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there and the country was brought under their control.
Who would like to see this country brought under the control of the living God? Amen? I tell you what that's what I believe for. Do you believe that some day that God is going to bring this country to a place of where God will really bring it to its knees, and it will really bow before Jesus Christ? How many people can really see that taking place? How many people believe that that's possible to come to pass? That Jesus Christ will have such an effect on Australia that it will truly bow the knee to Jesus? And it will truly become, not just a pseudo-Christian nation but a Christian nation? In Jesus Name.
Right now it's more like humanistic, atheistic than Christian, isn't it? And I want to tell you that I believe that we need a vision and we need a dream and we need a hope that that's going to take place in Jesus' mighty Name. And here in this portion of Scripture that Israel came to a place of where the whole of the country was brought under their control. What a... what an incredible thought, that the whole of the country would be brought under the control of God because they were God's people.
And today, I just say to you, even with the prophecies that came forward this morning, they were prophecies of hope, they were prophecies of vision, they were prophecies of... of faith, they were prophecies that... that said "look up, move forward, take hold of more, and more, and more, and more of the things of God". And I believe that that's the word that is going out to this... this nation today, this... the churches of this nation today, is that we've only touched a small bit in God and God wants to pour out more on us, in Jesus Name. And He wants to anoint us in a greater way and greater power and greater authority that we can see greater things in Him, in Jesus Name. That we can see greater numbers come and bow their knee before the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I believe in salvation. Amen? I believe that Jesus Christ wants to save this nation for Him. I believe that Jesus wants to save man from destruction. I believe that man... God wants to save man from his own ways and that God wants to bring this nation truly to bow the knee before Him and proclaim that He's the Christ and... and salvation must always come first.
But I want to point out some things in this... in this portion of Scripture. You know to... to bring the nations and to bring the whole country to the place of where there was a move of God that brought them under the control of Israel there had to be several things that took place. And number one, it says that the whole assembly of the Israelites gathered together. The whole assembly, men, women and children came together. And I believe that they came together in the unity of the Spirit, that they came together in a place of where they allowed God to move upon their lives, and where they allowed God to mold them together, that they might be a fit army for the work that God had for them in Jesus Name.
And I want to tell you I believe with all my heart that God is building an army today. He's not building a group of people, He's not just building people that they can be individuals. But He's building them together. He's compacting them together that they might be men and women that stand together and fight together and move forward together, in Jesus' Name.
But I want to tell you that today, perhaps more in any time in Pentecost, and I'm talking Pentecost. You've got to realise and you've got to understand that throughout this world it is Spirit filled men and women of God that are at the forefront of every spiritual endeavour across this world today. It is Spirit filled churches, it's spirit filled men and women. And I'm not trying to be exclusive. I praise God for the Baptists, I praise God for the Lutherans, I praise God for the men and the women of God that love Jesus. But I want to tell you that, historically, it seems, that history shows it's men and women that are endued with power from on high, that are filled with the Spirit of God, are filled with faith, filled with hope, filled with love, that do something in God.
And yet today in our midst there are... there are... there are those that would come, and there is a greater onslaught today against those things, those very fundamentals. And I warn you today that we will not take this nation without opposition. We will not take this nation and we will not see it subdued if we have disunity. If we have people pulling this way and that way and wanting to do their own thing. And have their own... own ideals. It's not that... that anyone can't... it's not that everybody's gotta agree on everything, but it's when men and women come, and they're tearing down, and tearing down, and tearing down, and tearing down and tearing down. And all that they can do is tear down.
I want to tell you that there is an organised operation that is going on in our nation and in Britain and America and in many parts of the nations that are undermining the very things that we believe. Today we have people that are tearing down the very Pentecost that we know. The very faith stand that we know. The stand that we take and we believe God is... is... is moving... ah... our church and moving the church of the living God into greater and greater things, and yet there is an undermining.
How many would have seen where Benny Hinn has been castigated on television? Someone told me that they read one of the papers after that event and... or perhaps it was on that television program was it?... where they have letters that come in and talk about some of those aspects of what people... and a minister, a mainline minister, wrote to... wrote to those people and said, "What you are doing is you're taking hope away from people that are in need. Hope of healing, hope of deliverance. And you're undermining those very fundamentals." And I want to tell you that those people undermine the very fundamentals.
Now is Benny Hinn gonna get it all right? No he's not. No more than you are, no more than I am, no more than this church is. But there is a... there is a concerted effort from within the church as well to tear down ministries.
You can... you can... you can nearly name any name - all the ones that you see on television - Creflo Dollar, what's the lady?, Joyce Meyers, you name them, they're all considered to be heretics and they're all considered to be of the devil. Including Copeland, including Andrew Evans, including Phil Hills, including, including Tim Hall, including, including, including, including, including! And I want to tell you they're not of the devil. There're not of the devil. Because they haven't got it all right. And I want to tell you they're men of faith and hope and love that stand and believe God.
There is a concerted effort by men like Phil Powell that is sending out letters, and sending out literature all over Australia that is tearing these men to shreds and tearing what they call the Faith Movement to shreds.
They're saying that Pensacola is of the devil. Which is inconceivable to me. It's inconceivable to me. How can Pensacola be of the devil when there is an estimated, and a very reserved estimate of seventy thousand people that have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour - first time decisions? And it's not a flash in the pan. It's been going on for years and it's still going on. And there's far more than seventy thousand now.
If something is of the devil - I spoke to a man, and I'm going to name him this morning because he was a member of this church, and he espoused this - that Pensacola and the men that I've spoken of and the Faith Movement - what is the Faith Movement? - some nebulous thing that they decide what it is and what it isn't? And they espouse it, they say because they stand up and say, "We will decide what is faith and what is not faith. We will have the last say on what you are to do."
And today this is a hard message but I... but I preach it because I believe that we are under attack, in Jesus' Name. And because the church is under attack. And because these men come to... err... hiding behind people's backs and... and sneaking into houses in the church and they will undermine these ministries and they will tell... tell you all these things that they've done and all these things that they... they... they are... they are supposed to espouse - all those things that they... and they pour out all this garbage on people. And to the uninitiated and to... to those that... that... that er... that take it on board, they are... they are... their faith is... is weakened and they're undermined. " Who do we believe now?" Well we believe Jesus, Amen? We believe Jesus. They won't get it all right.
I want to tell you if Pensacola is of the devil, then what these people tell me, that they are of the devil, then they have undermined the salvation of seventy odd thousand people. Is that right? Because how can the devil spawn salvation in Christ? How can that of the devil - Jesus said ,when He was accused of casting out demons by Bealzibub the prince of demons He said, "How can a house be divided against itself? How can Satan cast out Satan?" And I might say, how... how can the devil bring forth the wonder of salvation? It is impossible! It is impossible! There's someone that's wrong here. And I want to tell you those men and those women in Pensacola are getting saved just like you and just like me, and just like most of the people around this world today, that they have received Jesus Christ with a heart that believes on Him and confesses Him, and they move on.
And you see they undermine the very, very, very, very salvation itself. I mean, I want to tell you, I didn't wake up to this straight away. But I want to tell you when you start seeing it for what it is, when you stop seeing all the smoke screen that's being thrown up, you start seeing what it really is. And it's an undermining of salvation. Who then says who's saved and who's not saved? Who will stand in judgement and say, "You are saved but you are not saved, because you came from this people, or you sat under this ministry, and you no longer are saved because we can't accept your salvation because of this, or because of that, or because of this ministry or that ministry, or you read this book and got saved, or you did this..." Who's going to stand in that place? No man can stand in that place folks!
Ninety-nine point nine percent of us, and I only say ninety-nine point nine percent because I'm not absolutely sure everybody's saved here - I pray God everybody is, but everyone of us went down, if not physically on our knees, we went down and we... and we recognised our sin, we recognised the terror of where we were, and we bowed before Him and we proclaimed that we were sinners. And that we confessed that He was Lord, and we asked Him to forgive us and to save us. And you know what? It worked. It worked! It worked! I am saved. You are saved. I don't have to look and to see where did I come from? I got saved under Barry Chant. I've seen people saved under Tom Foster, I've seen people saved under Benny Hinn. I've seen people saved under all sorts of ministries. But the Word is Truth. If you confess with your mouth, if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He is risen from the dead you shall be saved. Is this right or isn't it? Is this Scripture or isn't it Scripture? And it's Scripture.
Folks don't be taken in, because if you tear down Pensacola you're tearing down virtually your own salvation. Because those same men and those same women that are in Pensacola that are bowing down before Jesus Christ and proclaiming Him Lord of all are as saved as what you and I are today. And I praise God for seventy odd thousand. Oh God do it here! In Jesus Name. Do it here in this place, in Jesus mighty Name.
And I want to tell you that's the only answer for Australia - is the fact that we would have a revival. It might not be like Pensacola. It might not be like anything we've known before. It might not be what we think it should be. But Oh God, do it ,in Jesus Name. Whatever's necessary to bring this nation to its knees, in Jesus mighty Name. In Jesus Name. Whatever's necessary.
A man called Hughie Seaborn in this church has been undermining and going round with the views that are totally opposed to what we espouse in this church. What we believe in.
You know... a lot of you know Hughie Seaborn. It is of great sadness to us and this Board. We have tried to talk to him. We have come together as a Board with him. We have - he will not change. He believes that ... virtually that this... because I espouse and because I believe what I believe that I'm in the same category as the rest of them. And he cannot accept my ministry or the ministry of the leadership of this church, and so we have no, we have no, sadly we have no other course. And I want to tell you my heart is breaking because of that. I have tried and I've tried and I've tried to... to er... give this man room but he, but he, but he will not change his ways. And he, and he, you might, he's already maybe given you his dream and his book of the yellow octopus that comes out of Africa. But I want to tell you folks, it's with sadness that we have to say, "Hughie you cannot any longer fellowship in this church." And that grieves us. The Board is grieved by... by what... the... by what we've had to do. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life. And I... and I say... my heart breaks for it, in Jesus Name.
Folks today we have to recognise what is going on. We cannot... we cannot pussy foot around with this thing. The very fundamentals of our faith and salvation - our faith, in Jesus Name - in what Jesus Christ can do, is at stake.
If we are... if we are labeled as the Faith Movement, and if we, if we become what they call the Faith Movement - and what is the Faith Movement? What can the... what... what... what can the Faith... if I'm not part of the Faith Movement what can I believe and what can't I believe? How do I determine that? I would have to go to these men and I have to say, "I submit before you." And I say, "What can I preach and what can I teach and what can I do and what can't I do?" Because they seem to be the only ones with the answers.
And I look across this world today and there are more Christians on the face of this earth today - there is revival going on in China. There is revival going on in Argentina. There is a revival going on in Brazil. There's revival going on in Honduras, there's a revival going on in so many parts of this nation - this world. And I want to tell you, it's Bible believing people just like you and just like me in all their frailty and all their own inabilities that dare to believe God and dare to believe that we can... we can see our nation, or to see their nation, or to see things change. We dare to believe that people will be healed if we lay hands on the sick. We dare to believe in miracles. We dare to believe that Jesus can open blind eyes and open deaf ears, make the lame to walk and make people to be set free, in Jesus' mighty Name. We dare to believe. In Jesus Name.
I want to tell you that I've considered this very, very clear - very carefully what they've said, over a matter of months, and do you know what? I've come to the conclusion that there is no other way except that Jesus Christ be Jesus Christ, and that He will show forth His power through His people, through faith and through hope and through love, in Jesus' mighty Name. There's no other way folks. There's no other way. I don't know about you but I'm going on. I want more. I don't want less. I say more, more, more, Lord Jesus. Some of our... some of our goals... one of our goals at the bottom of that Goal Sheet over there, is Lord, that we might have notable miracles. Notable miracles.
How many people have been healed in this place? Praise God. People have been healed and set free and delivered and I want to tell you I believe that we'll see more and more and more and more and more.
You know, I have a hope. And when I say hope I don't mean as you know what the world says, "I hope." The world says "I hope I win Tatt's Lotto, or Superball", or whatever it is. "I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow so that I can go fishing". "I hope it doesn't this tomorrow". "I hope, I hope this happens", and... and what they are saying is, "Maybe it will and maybe it won't". But I want to tell you, my hope is in Jesus. My hope is in Jesus. My hope is in the fact that His Word says that you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, and I say, "That's me!" And I say, "That's you!" And I say, "It's the church of the living God that can stand and can live in those realms", in Jesus' Name.
Folks, there is a place where if we are to see Australia... we are to see it subdued before the... the... this world and that we can see it subdued be... subdued before Christ, then we've got to have men and women that are truly on fire for Him.
And I want to tell you we'll not have people on fire for Him if they're only going around criticising people and tearing people down. How... what... what is that to do with faith? What is that to do with seeing this nation won for Jesus Christ? It is nothing to do with it. I would rather have some on fire, alight, men and women of God that are full of zeal and full of hope and full of... full of... full of the desire to move on in Christ then I... then I... then I would want a whole army of them. Because I believe with all my heart that Jesus wants us to have hope in Him.
If you take away hope folks, as that preacher said, if you take away hope what have these people got to hope in? I want to tell you I hope in my Jesus. I have a certainty. Now abideth faith, hope and love. Isn't that what 1 Corinthians says? It's on the front of your bulletin. Now abideth faith, hope and love. I want to tell you if you read 1 Corinthians and you read the context of that, and it speaks of "though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, though I give my body to be burned, though I have this and though I have that, and though, one thing and another", and it virtually comes down to, it says that there is three things that remain. When you boil it all down. When you throw it all in the pot. And there's only three things that remain, and that's faith, that's hope, and that's love, but the greatest of these is love. The greatest of these is love.
I want to just read a piece of Script... a piece... a little bit out of a book...I deliberately... I was going to bring some other concordances because what I've spoken about is my opinion, but you see there are other opinions that are out there too. But I believe that when we look at the concordances and when we look at the men and women that have studied the Greek and studied the Word, we will find that they believe that Jesus heals today. They believe that He sets free today, that He saves today. And I'm not saying these people don't believe that. But what they want to do is that, they want to water it down so much that you don't know what you believe any more.
Some of you have been Christ's so long - many, many, many, years and you've come to a place of maturity and growth and development and these people will come in and they... and they will just shatter everything you believe. They will. That's what their objective is - is to hatter everything that you believe, so that you then can believe what they believe.
Let me just read this. If you want to know where it's from it's "Every Day with Jesus" November 1988 - that's a few years old isn't it? You know I believe God brings you stuff to you... to you... to give to you sometimes and (unintelligible, but sounds like he was going to mention someone's name and thought better of it - it sounds like he was about to say John)... I don't know... this just came into my hands.
It says "Your work" in 1 Thessalonians 1, 1 to 10, it says "Your work produced by faith - your labour prompted by love and your endurance inspired by hope." That's the NIV. You want to check up on it - 1 Thessalonians, Chapter 1 and verse 1 to 10. And he says this, "We said yesterday that faith hope and love are the building materials which we send before us into eternity.
The story is told of a man who died and went to heaven. Arriving at the pearly gates, he was asked his name, and after identifying his name in the Book of Life, an angel escorted him through the streets of Heaven. As they walked together down different streets the man said to the angel, "Where are we going?" and the angel replied, "We're going to the dwelling place which has been prepared for you."
And as they walked the man looked at the magnificent dwelling places that were all around and wondered just which one had been prepared for him. Eventually they came to a small rude and tumble down abode at which the angel stopped and said, "Here is where you are to spend eternity." And the man was taken aback and said, "Surely, not this? Why couldn't my home be like the beautiful mansions we've just passed by?"
In solemn tones the angel said, "I'm sorry, but we did the best we could with the materials that you sent up."
It is only a story of course and in some way it has little Scriptural support, except perhaps the passage we looked at yesterday that showed us that the only materials that survive the refining fires we shall all have to pass through before entering into eternity are gold, and silver and precious stones of pure motive and character. Faith, hope and love have one thing in common, they are survivors. They last. They are as one writer put it, a tightly interwound, three strand cord, braided together from the unbreakable line of Christ's character, extended to us as our own life line of eternal duration. A cord that is... that we weave together that lives for eternity. What will count in your life when you stand in heaven will be the faith which is now, the hope which is future, and the love that is always, that we would be motivated, we would be captivated, we would be inspired by the love, the agape love of Jesus Christ."
Folks, what this one thing this movement does that is coming and is upon us now is the fact that they deny the very principles of love, and they're tearing... tearing to pieces men and women that cannot even defend themselves. They're not going to them as in Scripture.......
End Of Side 1.
Side 2 Resumes.....
....or who judges his brother speaks harshly of the law and judges the law, and if you are the judge of the law you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it. One is the lawgiver and judge who is able to save and destroy. Who are you judging your neighbour?
And Barclay says,
The word James uses "to speak harshly" or "to slander" is katilana (It is actually katalaleo, pronounced kat-al-al-eh'-o). Usually a verb means to slander someone when he is not there to defend himself. The sin of slander, the noun, is ah, Kat... I won't read it, is condemned all through the Bible. It is the Psalmist's accusation against the wicked man. "You who sit and speak against your brother, you slander your own mother's son".
The Psalmist hears God saying, "Him who slanders his neighbour secretly I will destroy." Paul listed among the sins which are characteristic of the unredeemed evil and pagan world, and it is one of the sins which he fears to find warring in the church of Corinth. It is significant to know that both these passages, slander comes in immediate connection with gossip. Katilana is the sin of those who meet in corners and gather in little groups and pass on confidential tit bits of information which destroy the good name of those who are not there to defend themselves. The same sin is condemned by Peter in 1 Peter 2:1.
There is a great necessity for this warning. People are slow to realise that there are few sins which the Bible is so unspar... so unsparingly condemns as the sin of irresponsible and malicious gossip. There are few activities which the average person finds more delight in than this. To tell and to listen to slander stories. Especially about some distinguished person.
It is most... for most people, a fascinating activity. We do well to remember what God thinks of it in James - James condemns it for its two fundamental reasons.
If you want to read... read... it talks about a breach of the royal law. What's the royal law folks? Love is the royal law. Love is the royal law. It breaches the royal law. And folks we've been called to love one another. Amen?
We just had communion. Love feast. Amen? The love feast. Can you think of our Lord and our Saviour, Jesus Christ, - it says in Scripture, "That yet while we were sinners Christ died for us." When you were at your worst Jesus died for you. When you were in your deepest darkest sin and your worst position that you've ever been into in your life, Jesus still went to the cross for you. He still paid an ultimate price. It says, "No greater"... it says, "It is possible that a man should lay his life down for a good man but who would lay himself down for a bad man... lay his life down for a bad man?" And each one of us were there folks. We were outside of Christ. That was us. I know it was me.
And then it says, "Now much more reconciled to Christ, how much more does He love us?" You mean Lord you love me now more because I've accepted You and given my life to You. I tell you what, we have a Saviour that loves so much. It doesn't matter who you are in this congregation this morning, it doesn't matter what you feel about yourself, I want to tell you one thing, and one thing for sure, Jesus loves you. Jesus loves you. Whether you are in your deepest darkest sin and you've never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour I want to tell you, His love reaches out to you that you can have all the benefits of the cross of Calvary and all His blessings upon you in Jesus name. He wants to bless you.
You might be there and you know that you're back-slidden and you've gone your own way. I want to tell you there's One that reaches out to you as the prodigal father would wait for the prodigal son. Jesus waits for you to come and bow your knee to Him. And He will not reject you, but He will embrace you and He will love you. He will not start to pick on all your sins and say, "When you've got all those cleaned up then you can come back."
Oh isn't that wonderful folks? That we can come as we are. And that He can forgive us as we are, in Jesus' Name. Folks, we have a wonderful Saviour, a wonderful Lord. And folks, can I say this to you? Those things abide, the greatest of them is love, but faith, hope and love abide.
Don't give up your faith folks. Don't give up your faith. Don't give up believing. Don't give up believing that God can supply your needs according to His riches in glory. Don't give up believing that He can heal your body. Don't believe that he can heal your.... don't stop believing that he can't heal... that he can... that he can heal your marriage, don't stop believing that he... that he... that he can heal your children or set you free in some way. But keep standing. Keep believing. Keep your faith going. Increase in faith folks. Don't decrease in it, but increase in it. Don't stop hoping. Hoping. You see if you don't hope, if you don't have a hope this world is a world that where... people are committing suicide all over the place. Why are they commit suicide? Because they are hopeless and because they have nothing to believe in and no hope to hang on to but we have the hope that is in Christ Jesus. We have the hope of the truth of the Word of God that says that we can believe and that we can receive and that we can live in all that He said we can live in, in Jesus' Name.
Don't stop loving folks. Don't get into the same error that these people are in, and they would justify themselves and they'll say, "Well Paul rebuked Hymenaus, that Paul rebuked Peter, that Paul did this." And that's their justification of it. But I want to tell you that they're not Paul. Paul had authority over those churches. He had authority in Jesus' Name. And what's more Paul went to Peter and he spoke to him face to face. He didn't hide in some corner somewhere and tear someone to shreds in a huddle in some little home.
Folks, there is a place where we need love to keep reaching out and reaching out and reaching out. Love your wife. Love your children with the love of Jesus Christ. The agape love of Christ. Love your church in Jesus' Name. Love the church in Jesus' Name. Love your neighbour as yourself as it says.
Folks, the building blocks are there. What are you sending into heaven? What are you sending into glory to build your mansion? I know that's only a story but I believe it serves to illustrate that there abides faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.
Read you one more portion of Script .... one more portion out of here, and this is from 1 Peter 1, 9 and 1. "Whom having not seen, you love, though now you do not see Him, yet believing you rejoice with joy inexpressible". Is that your heart? We believe in Him. We have faith in Him. We are full of joy because of Him.
If you have difficulty in accepting the fact that faith, hope and lo... and hope as well as love will be part of eternity, then listen to this illustration by Phillip Keller used in his book, "The Layman's Look at the Love of God".
He tells of a young woman falling in love with a handsome young man in whom she put enormous faith and hope. Eventually she married but as soon as she did... she soon discovered that her Prince Charming is a deceiver and a rogue. All her dreams crash into the rubble and she is broken hearted. Why? Because she lacked faith in him? No. Because she lacked hope? No. Because she lacked love? No. She invested her faith, hope and love in a person that had not character.
In time the man died. She tells herself that she will never have faith in anyone again. But one day a man comes into her life who is unpretentious, simple and transparently sincere. A tiny spark of faith is ignited within her.
In due course the man asked her to marry him. And with faith no more than a grain of mustard seed she sets out to begin another marriage. Things turn out well, for the man has implecable (sic) character and is extremely loving and kind. Her heart is healed. Her home is a little bit of heaven. Her happiness is complete. Why? Was it just faith she had. No, it was the hope. No it was largely the character of the man. It is just the same says Keller with Christ. His character is implecable (sic). His integrity is undeniable, and his trustworthy is... trustworthiness is complete.
It is for this reason that our faith and hope and love endure. They're rooted in Him, His character validates our faith, honours our hope, confirms our love and remains sure because He remains sure.
In Jesus' Name. Amen?
Oh Jesus! Stand with me in Jesus Name. Jesus Name. We put our faith and our trust and our hope not in a man. Don't put it in me. Put it in Jesus. Don't put it in Copeland. Put it in Jesus. Don't put it in Benny Hinn. Put it in Jesus. Because He's the one that heals. He's the one that delivers. He's the one that saves. He's the one that sets free. In Jesus' mighty Name.
Oh Jesus! Lift your hands up. Oh Jesus! Musicians would you come. Oh Jesus we love You. We worship Your Name. We give you glory and we give You honour. We exalt You. Oh Jesus. Jesus. Oh Jesus. (speaking in tongues).
What's that chorus? "Our God Reigns". Jesus. You know He reigns? You know reigns. He reigns for ever more. Someone come and find the transparancies for us. Jesus' Name. Our God reigns. Praise God. Oh Jesus.
If you don't know Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Saviour here this morning, if you've never accepted Him, if you've never come to the place of where you've given your life over to Jesus, I want to tell you, He calls out to you today, because He loves you and He cares for you today. If you're back-slidden today or you've gone your own way I want to tell you, you can come back. You can come back. Because He loves you. He doesn't want you to continue doing what you're doing. He wants you to turn around from it. But He wants you to come back in Jesus' Name. So if you want to receive Christ or you want to just come and rededicate your life to Jesus, you can come and do that this morning. All I ask you to do just right now is just to lift your hand up right now and say "I want Jesus in my life". "I want Jesus in my life". "I want to rededicate Jesus in my life". In Jesus Name. And I ask you to take one more step. If that's you and you want to rededicate your life or you want to give your life to Jesus, is to come out the front in Jesus' Name. Let's sing this chorus. .................
