God has revealed that what actually happened in Africa in 1986 was that Benny Hinn was conducting meetings in Ray McCauley's church in Johannesburg in which the laughing phenomenon broke out. People began laughing hysterically and it actually surprised Benny Hinn what was going on. I have a video of the meeting in question and it is clear that something was manifested during the proceedings, it was embraced as coming from the Lord, and it was encouraged.

As you would be aware, Ray McCauley's church is a Faith Movement church, under the influence of, and closely associated with Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland. He also founded a Rhema (Faith Movement) Bible College at which Rodney Howard Brown was a student and at which he eventually taught.

At the time of the meetings that Benny Hinn conducted in Ray McCauley's Johannesburg church in 1986, Rodney Howard Brown was a member there. I believe God to be saying that Benny Hinn conjured up something demonic in those meetings, and that that 'something' was passed on to Rodney Howard Brown at that particular time.

The following year, 1987, Rodney Howard Brown was sponsored by Pastor Bob Rogers, an AOG pastor in Florida, to immigrate to the United States. The revelation to me from God in January of 1988, via the TV documentary, was actually indicating that this demonic influence had in fact left the shores of Africa and was now being let loose upon the Church on a worldwide scale.

Satan has established beachheads and is prevailing in the Church for a season. Many 'lives' are being lost.

I believe God to be saying to me that Benny Hinn is the big fish in the pond, not Rodney Howard Brown. Rodney Howard Brown is simply a willing vehicle through which the infection is being passed on to the Body, but it originated with Benny Hinn during his South Africa meetings.

In our last talk, you said to me that you had still not made up your mind as to whether the Toronto Blessing was of God of not. Since then, nearly every visiting ministry that has been to our church has openly promoted the move as being of God. Practically all of these visiting Pastors advocate the manifestations as being God doing a work in His people.

I continue to believe that there is gross error in the teachings of the Faith Movement and in the discernment of the people behind the Toronto and Pensacola phenomenons. I am fearfully concerned for the members of the Body of Christ who are being drawn after, what I believe God has shown to be, another gospel that is being preached by 'false apostles and deceitful workers who are transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.'

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 warns us very clearly, &quotFor such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

I have some tapes that I would like you to listen to and prayerfully evaluate. One set is of a message by Hank Hanegraaff of Christian Research Institute giving examples of what these preachers of the Faith Movement are espousing and spreading through the Body of Christ. Of particular concern to me is the evidence included on these tapes of the involvement of Benny Hinn, who has been welcomed with open arms and personally endorsed by the AOG. The other tape is of two 10 minute excerpts from a taped message by David Wilkerson and another pastor at David Wilkerson's church in New York. These men of God are also very concerned as to what is happening in Christendom today.

I believe that the Body of Christ needs to be warned about what is going on. The average Christian has no idea as to what is happening behind the scenes but I believe that they need to be informed. My people perish for lack of knowledge the Scriptures tell us. We need to be informed and discern what the enemy is about in these last days. I also recommend that you share these tapes with the leadership of the Church and school for evaluation as an urgent matter.

I can not stress strongly enough that I have no love for seeming to appear contentious. I too would love to enjoy peace and harmony and have a nice time but the wolves are in the fold posing as sheep, as the Lord Jesus, Paul and others warned in Scripture that they would be. If you can show me that I am wrong and that the evidence on these tapes is wrong then I am open to be corrected. Please call me so that we can discuss my concerns. But if I am not wrong and what is on these tapes (and numerous other documents that I have in my possession) is proved to be true, then I believe urgent remedial action should be taken in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I pray that you will see the seriousness of the matter I am raising (and have been raising for the last two years) and hear where my concerns are coming from. I am not interested in challenging your leadership or authority over this part of the vineyard, I am simply attempting to bring attention to something that is happening, something that has been plainly warned in Scripture would take place in the last days just prior to the return of our Lord. My concern is for the Body of Christ that He gave His life for. I am concerned for my brothers and sisters (and that includes yourself and the others in leadership in our fellowship) who are part of the same Body that I am.
