"Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous. But
to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly
unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or
neglect." - Captain A. G.
Lamplugh, British Aviation Insurance Group, London. Circa
early 1930's.
No matter how many and how stringent laws and rules
are, we will not stop the young ones killing
themselves and others. Why? Very simple. Since birth
they have had their own way in life and never been made to
obey rules. So why on earth, after 16 or 17
years and are now given even more freedom (after all, they are now 10ft tall and bullet
proof) would they suddenly change and obey rules. Hello... Anybody home?
Respect authority, now that's another joke. Thanks to
all the "do-gooders" of the seventies and eighties we now
have a society of young anarchists. Parental
Responsibility?. You reap what you sow. ........

Man's Best Friend
A dog is truly a man's best friend. If you don't believe it, just try this
experiment:
Put your dog and your wife in the boot of the car for an hour.
Then open the boot and see which one is really happy to see you!
