Dancer and Dream spent the weekend of 30 October through 1
November competing at the Goulburn Dog Training & Kennel Club shows. With
her Best of Breed wins there, Dancer
completed the Challenge Points requirements for the award of Australian
Champion! Congratulations to our sweet little girl!

Happy 12th
Birthday to Zulu, Peppy, Mali, Pixie and our greatly missed dear Peggy. A little celebration was held at home,
attended by Momma Shadow (now 15), Peppy's lifelong
companion Baxter (now 14) and of course Peppy and Zulu.

By winning three
Best of Breeds at the Cessnock Dog Club shows at Newcastle, our Dream
completed the Challenge Points requirements for the award of Australian
Champion! She officially received this award on 6 October 2009. We are very

Following on
from the previous weekend, Dancer won another Best Puppy in the Working Dog
Group, this time in Canberra, at the ACT Junior Kennel Club show. Paco also appeared in the Veteran's Sweepstakes and held
up his end by gaining the second place ribbon.

We
are very pleased to report that at the Penrith Districts dog show on 28
August, 2009, Dream won Best Junior in Show, as well as Runner-up Best
Working Dog, and Best Junior Working Dog.
At this same show, little Dancer won Best Puppy Working Dog.

All our love
and best wishes to our two "oldies" on their Birthdays. Shadow
turned 15 years old on 13 August, while Baxter turned 14 years old on 14
August.

The Belgian
shepherd Dog Club of NSW held its annual Specialty Show on 1 August 2009,
with Mr Glenn Moore from Victoria judging.
We are delighted to report that our Dream won Best Junior in the Show,
and our Paco won Best Veteran in the Show.

Dancer and
Dream went to Newcastle to compete in
a weekend of showing, and we were very
pleased when Dancer was awarded Best Minor Puppy in the Working Dog
Group at both the Newcastle & Northern District Kennel Club and the
Northern All Breeds Kennel Club shows on 8 May.

We were
pleased to be informed by Clinton and Michele that Gracie has now completed her CCD title,
and was to represent her Metro Midweek Dog Training Club in CCD for the
upcoming Inter-Club Challenge. Congratulations and best wishes for the
contest!

The Sydney
Royal Easter Show
We
entered both puppies Dancer
and Dream the Sydney Royal Easter Show this year,
under Finnish judge Ms E Tan-Hietalahti. We were
pleased that in spite of their youth, both won Reserve Challenge in their
respective breeds. However, we were even more pleased when Dream went on to
win Best Working Dog Puppy of the Day!

Dream and
Dancer star at the Tarago Show!
We
were delighted at the Tarago Show when our two little girls both excelled. Dream
won first place in the 6-12 months old puppy sweepstakes, and went on to win
Best Minor Puppy in the Working Dog Group. Then Dancer won
Best Baby Puppy in the Working Dog Group, and followed it up by winning Best
Baby Puppy in the entire Show!

At
the Dapto Show, we were very pleased when our little baby puppy Dancer won first place in the 3-6 months old
Sweepstakes, against an entry of 27 other baby puppies. This was her first
sweepstakes, so a very good start for our little girl. At the same show, we
were also pleased when our 7 month old puppy Dream won
her first Challenge.

At our
first show for the year, our Dream came through and won Best Puppy in
the Working Dog Group at the Penrith Kennel and Obedience Club Show. At this same show, 4 month old Dancer's brother Arry won Best Baby Puppy in the Working
Dog Group. So congratulations to both
of these youngsters!
