Dream is a beautiful daughter of our Paco and Bonny mating, born on 20 June, 2008. Her pedigree name is Baxies Dream, since early on she reminded us of our much loved boy and first Tervueren, Baxter (Aust Ch Barakuma Knight Errant) - Click here to read a tribute to our beloved Baxie.

Dream’s Career as a Show Dog

Dream  had a very successful show career. At various shows in 2009, she was awarded the Best Minor Puppy, the Best Puppy and the Best Junior Dog in the Working Dog Group, first place in a Sweepstakes for all 6-12 months olds, Runner up Best Dog in the Working Dog Group, and was twice awarded the Best Junior Dog in the Show. One of these times was at the Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of NSW Specialty Show in August 2009. She was also awarded Puppy of the Day at the 2009 Sydney Royal Show.

Then by winning three Best of Breeds at the Cessnock Dog Club shows at Newcastle on 26 and 27 September 2009, our Dream completed the Challenge Points requirements for the award of Australian Champion! She officially received this award on 6 October 2009. We were very proud of our lovely girl.

She continued in the show ring until age 5, gaining a total of over 400 Challenge points.

Dream as a Mother

Dream has had two lovely litters of happy and healthy puppies, one in June 2012 and another in November, 2014, as described below.

June 2012

June 2012 saw Dream become a mother for the first time.  There were 6 puppies: 4 girls (1 red & 3 grey) and 2 boys (1 red & 1 grey). The father was Australian Champion Erlander Faro “Skeet”. Dream with her new puppies is pictured below. For further information on this litter including access to pictures of the puppies at various stages, pictures of dad, the puppies going to their new homes and their lives since then, go to this link.

November 2014

Dream had her second litter of puppies in November, 2014. The father was again the handsome Australian Champion Erlander Faro, known as “Skeet”.  There were a total of 7 lovely pups, 4 girls and 3 boys. To access pictures of the puppies as they grow, to see them with their new owners and follow them as they grow up, click here. Dream is pictured below with her puppies.
