CASPA Mailing List

The caspa mailing list has been organised through the Council of Australian Scrabble Players Associations (CASPA) and is funded by CASPA. It has been established primarily for the benefit of Scrabble players within Australia.

The mailing list has been set up to stimulate discussion and disseminate information about about Scrabble, and anyone is invited to participate, whether or not they are involved in clubs, tournaments or interactive play. When you post or cc (copy) a message to caspa@magna.com.au it goes to everybody on this list.

There are a few protocols that list subscribers are asked to abide by. These are:

  1. No attachments
  2. No jokes unless related to Scrabble
  3. Assign state prefix if posting something of relevance to only one State
  4. Restrict lists of tournaments entries to a maximum of three

Subscribers to this mailing list will be the first to find out results of Scrabble tournaments all around the country, provided they are posted by a list subscriber. In addition, important postings from similar mailing lists in UK and North America will be copied to this list from time to time.

If you want to instruct a colleague on how to subscribe to this list, the correct procedure is to send an email to majordomo@magna.com.au with nothing in the subject, and subscribe caspa in the body.

The list is administered by Bob Jackman, email rjackman@ozemail.com.au. Any difficulties with subsribing or unsubscribing should be referred to the administrator.
