To find out the opinion of our world champion athletes, we took
to the pool and interviewed one of Australia's aquatic Olympic
team members.
We can all see your constant devotion to your sport, but
what are you trying to do for Australia? i.e. What is your ultimate
goal?
To represent my country to the best of my ability. To make Australians
proud of their athletes.
People like yourself, are quite often, role models for the
younger generation. What are you trying to convey through your
actions in the sport.?
There is no image I am trying to convey. I enjoy what I
do and I hope I provide inspiration to all Australians that
goals are achievable.

As you would most likely know, several young people were responsible
for this site. We didn't want to just generalise about what Australians
want for Australia, we thought we'd give you a little insight
into what we think about the future of Australia.

Generally, we don't see long term, but when we do, we aim
for a safe, comfortable and friendly society. We want the
Aussie spirit to live forever. Maybe one day we could leave
our windows unlocked without thieves sneaking in, or maybe
be able to let our kids travel at night without worrying
about their safe return.

Australia, to us, is the greatest country in the world. Our dream
is to make it even greater!

Again, we must inform you, the oldest person in the web team is
eighteen, most probably younger than 80% of our audience who will
read this. So at random we picked a 'mature' person and asked
him the following question...
What are your hopes for the future of Australia?
My hopes for the future of Australia are that we continue to
be an open and accepting nation that we already are and continue
to support the peace around the world.

Concluding... nothing is certain. Our future is what we make of
it. The Olympics are the gateway to what's to come. As we have
said we must roll up our sleeves and give our visitors a huge
welcome. We have talked about THE OLYMPICS,
THE EFFECTS they have on Australia,
the STRATEGIES we're employing
to assist Australia and what we wish for THE
FUTURE.

We can't say much more than what we have, we hope we have
enlightened and inspired you. Next time your walking down
the street and see someone walking in the opposite direction,
don't look at the ground, say g'day! The next time you see
a piece of plastic on the sidewalk, pick it up and place
it in the trash by doing things such as this, together we'll
awaken Australia!
