Chioggia, a favourite painting place of Edward Seago, Sir Winston Churchill and, would you believe,
Robert Wade? Situated about an hour south of Venice, it does not have the tourist traffic of Venice,
so it's possible to set up and paint without too much bustle even though it is a very busy fishing town.
