This is one of the most important parts of my output. It enables me to record my reactions to wherever I happen to be, and once committed to paper, that image will remain in my memory forever. Sketching should also be a major part of every artist's oeuvre.
The sketch may be recorded in many fashions, in watercolour, in pencil, in crayon, pastel, acrylic or whatever means you have at your disposal.
The main thing is to GET IT DOWN QUICKLY.
