About Us

AREV Computer Centre was founded in the late 80’s and has since become an IT solutions company servicing primarily the Hills area of Sydney. Our company incorporates a qualified team of experienced IT staff.

“AREV” is coined from the abbreviation of the Dos based database named “Advanced Revelation”.

Revelation: “In 1984, Cosmos released a Pick-style database called Revelation, later Advanced Revelation, for DOS on the IBM PC. Advanced Revelation is now owned by Revelation Technologies, which publishes a GUI-enabled version called OpenInsight.” Wikipedia Source

Originally database analysis, design, construction, implementation & support was the sole objective for AREV Computer Centre using Advanced Revelation software. During the close involvement with the clients we would constantly get involved with the service & support of their computer equipment. This lead to further supply, support & service of clients hardware.

We have become the pseudo IT Manager for many businesses, letting the staff get on with “their” activities while we look after the IT issues.

We have always endeavoured to maintain a close & friendly relationship with our clients.
