International conference for working journalists

The Commonwealth Journalists International Conference will take placce in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia from 14 to 18 October 2008.

Some 50 delegates from all over the Commonwealth are expected to attend the conference where the problems, triumphs, trends, and dangers for working journalists will be discussed.

The 266 page book is a source of practical advice for those involved in development communication, a reference for courses, and an advocacy piece to promote development communication to managers and decision makers.

It contains rather too much technobabble and academic adjectivalism to be an easy read, but is one of the more useful texts in its area for working journalists.
