The JRE 1.2 is almost 10 megabytes in size. You can download it either automatically within your browser or download it from Sun's JRE web page.
Downloading the JRE automatically will take you to a page which will automatically download JRE 1.2. When the download is finished, you will be displayed with a successful installation message, and some music will play.
If you decide to download from the JRE 1.2 web page instead, follow the links and download the required files from Sun's web pages.
