TOUR MONTVILLE
MONTVILLE is situated 100kms north of Brisbane in the hinterland region of the Sunshine Coast known
as the Blackall Range.

First settled in 1887, Montville is today an integration of restored historical sites and modern day structures.

Known as 'The Creative Heart of the Sunshine Coast', Montville has a true village charm exceptional to all other centres. You will find a pleasant blend of Tudor, Irish and English cottages of log or stone, Swiss and Bavarian chalets, an old mill water-wheel, colonial and old Queenslanders and of course, one of the most spectacular and panoramic views over a coastal plain one could find in Australia.

Experience the myriad of art galleries, pottery studios, craft cottages, fashion houses, gift and antique shops, specialty shops and more, where you will find that 'something different'. Each Christmas the length of the Main Street is illuminated with coloured festoon lights for the enjoyment of our evening visitors.

Montville offers award-winning restaurants, tea rooms and cafes, both indoor and out, where you can relax and enjoy a wide variety of menus, some ethnic, some traditional, all wholesome and wherever possible, using fresh local tropical produce.
