retablo: the light Divine illumination comes in many forms. Mediaeval cathedrals used brilliantly coloured stained glass to admit heavenly light to their congregants. In addition to the traditional altar-candles which adorn my retablos, I have started to use more modern technology, in the form of light-emitting diodes.
