tree. Each leaf consists of many leaflets with prominent veins.
The tree is deciduous, and flowers in spring after new growth appears.

the flanges radiating out above ground from the trunk. These become
more prominent as the tree gets older, as you can see the irrigation
hose has been forced upwards over time. This tree is about 15 years
old.
