A Medicare rebate is available if your GP refers you using a Mental Healthcare Plan of $74.80.

If you have an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) where your work will pay for sessions ask your workplace if you can elect your own counselling service as some workplaces are flexible with the services they use alongside their main EAP provider.
