WHAT OTHER SPECIAL GROUPS? Tubestock Growers Group |
Tubestock Growers Group The Tubestock Growers Group of New South Wales was formed in the late 1970's and re-formed in 1992. It is a special interest group for members of the Nursery & Garden Industry NSW who focus on tubestock production. The Mission Statement of the Group is: Working together for the promotion of high quality tubestock for the betterment of the industry. Meetings are held four times a year on the evening prior to the monthly Nursery Industry Trade Day at Rouse Hill. At the meetings matters that effect members are discussed and guest speakers are often invited to address the meeting on topics of interest to tubestock growers. Collective advertising is undertaken in Trade magazines and we are also working on improving plant labels for the industry. Our first, the 'Little Clipper' series, covers four Buxus varieties which can be purchased from Macbird Floraprint.
