Aurora, or Roar as she is affectionately known is one of 2 new additions here at Nakiva along with her brother Aspen.  Aurora has done very well at Speciality level winning her class at all three Border Collie Club shows she has shown at, with 2 under Breed specialists.

The following critique from her 1st place in a strong lineup of 9 baby bitches at BCC of Qld September champ show 2007 from breed specialist Janice Baldwin

'A balanced sound baby with good head and sweet expression, adequate length of neck, level topline and correct tail set. Good chest, straight forelegs and tight feet. Well angulated fore and hindquarters, strong hocks. When this girl settled she moved with strength and purpose'

Since then she has taken numerous Challenges, RUBOBs and BOB's and classes in group and now, at 16 months has started to mature into a very nice young girl with effortless movement and on the 8th of November 2008, has gained the final points for her Australian Championship title taking a BOB and Junior in Group at Mullumbimby Show Society.  See the results pages for more details of Roars sucesses.
