2 Nov 1906, Elias KENNEY Elias Kenney ... died at his home in the township of Lexington Friday night, November 2d... Mr. Kenney was born in Trafalgar, Ont., in the year 1830 and came to Michigan in 1865, settling in Lexington township. In 1861 he was married to Miss Jane McMORAN. Mr. Kenney was the father of four children, Mrs. Thomas MACKLEM, William H., Mrs. William MONTGOMERY and Samuel C., all of Croswell, also five grandchildren all of whom with his widow survive him. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Presbyterian church in this city, Rev. R. B. WILSON, pastor of the church officiating, and interment was made in the Croswell cemetery.

5 Oct 1910, Jane (McMorran) KENNEY Mrs. Jane Kenney, widow of the late Elias Kenney, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William MONTGOMERY in Buel Township, October 5th at the age of 69 years. Mrs. Kenney ... was born in Niagara, Ontario. In 1861 she was married to Elias Kenney and four years later they came to Lexington township. The deceased lady leaves to mourn their loss ... Mrs. Thos. H. MACKLEM of Lexington township, Mrs. Montgomery of Buel, William H. of Lexington and Samuel C. Kenney of this city. The funeral was held Friday afternoon of last week at the Presbyterian church in this city. Rev. E. P. SIMKIN, pastor of the church, delivered the funeral sermon. The remains were laid at rest in the Croswell cemetery.
