Hugh McMORRAN and his family moved from Ontario to Quebec, later settling in Granby.

HUGH McMORRAN, b. 14 OCT 1855, Minto, Ontario.  He married HERMINE LEMOINE, b. 1869, d. 1 JUN 1928.  HUGH died 23 APR 1916.

These three children are said to have emigrated from Guervin (?Girvan, Ayrshire) c. 1918 to Manitoba. There was a James McMorran born in 1875 in Girvan, Ayrshire.

There is a town called McMorran in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.  The background to this is still being investigated.
