Humans often miss the point on the nature of power. It is more than probable that those 'in power' would prefer that the secrets of power lie within their closed ambit. They have no intention of 'sharing power' with more entities than they need to. To understand power is to have power. As they glibly say: 'knowledge is power'. The fundamental revelations of power lie in the hidden core aspects of reality. As discussed in previous section REALITY, the core aspects of reality are analogous to the pattern of the Trinity and are source, word, and spirit. We will not look at Source at this point, but instead concentrate on how word and spirit constitute a level of power much deeper than the normally accepted modes of power. The normal or shallower modes of power are all well known, and include such things as political power, law, violence, social pressure. These are all dependent on, and susceptible to the impact of not only each other, but more fundamentally the deeper sources of power in word and spirit, either for good or evil. Lets spell it out and look at some practicalities. The President of the United States would be regarded as having great power. In reality his power is ameliorated by other temporal powers such as advisors, lobby groups, the US Senate, the US Laws etc. And more fundamentally his power - in both how he is influenced by power and how his power is wielded is critically dependent on word and spirit factors. Word influences. These are the ideas, good or bad, that are put to him whether by another person communicating and idea, or by inspiration. Spirit influences. These are related to how he feels which have to do with the immediacy of either vices or virtues. As discussed in 'human reality' there is a direct interrelationship between the actions of word and spirit. So too in the president's wielding of power. A truly powerful President is one who not only makes decisions in relation to day to day running of the country, but who 'captures' the hearts and minds of his fellow Americans with ideals (virtue) and vision (ideas). A person whether a king or a subject, is subject to external powers that effect the way they act and these are fundamentally associated with word and spirit. Clearly the most powerful vice is fear. This is the most powerful of negative spiritual influences, the true power behind other powers such as violence. Fear was a big component of the Old Testament, but was the enemy in primitive Christianity. 'Perfect love casts out fear'. However as Christianity took on temporal power it did not look to the Kingdom of a good God for its power, it forsook the Virtue Matrix for vices. Hell was used as a fear idea initially for controlling the masses, and subsequently for evangelism. Where Jesus spent all his time preaching the Kingdom of God, the Church seems to have focussed less on this. Many powerful forces on the planet understand the power of fear. Fear is a powerful controlling force. Fear is very often the reason why a person does not do what they might otherwise choose to do. The World System has in the past been quite happy with a fear controlled Christianity. The Worldforces fear the Virtue Matrix, as law and all their other power structures depends to a great extent on fear and control. Good People within the law paradigm however can often see the advantages of people actively not wanting to do bad things because they have embraced the influence of the virtues, even if they are no longer under their ambit of direct control through fear. It is important to note that fear is not the most powerful of the spirits, and hell is not the most powerful idea. Consider the example outlined in Human Reality under Spirit/Word Interface. The person existing within the environment of human reality does have a degree of free choice . Nevertheless, the choice the person makes to either commit the crime of robbing and injuring another person is heavily influenced by the context of their spirit/word environment. Here is where the realm of the Virtue Matrix and those who live within it have power. Make no bones about it, Christianity in its full preaching of the Kingdom of God, the Virtue Matrix, is a radical and subversive message which has since the time of Christ been persecuted by the Worldforces. The the Virtue Matrix paradigm is seen as too liberating by those who seek to control societies and individuals. Whilst it is the other extreme of psychopathy, the Worldforces see a common problem of freedom in both the negative psychopath and the positive the Virtue Matrix Christian. Both walk through walls as if they were not there - neither are controlled by fear. Additionally, although the message has been suppressed for centuires, the time is now very close when the Virtue Matrix will displace every other Power Structure.
