Jesus spoke of people forcing their way into the Kingdom of Heaven and of wolves in
sheep's clothing, i.e. clothed superficially in Virtues but with an
underlying commitment to some vice. This is perhaps a more profound manifestation of evil than an
'honestly' evil person who is clothed in Vice. There will always be evil in this world until 'the kingdoms of
this world become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ' and to
this end we pray that 'His Kingdom comes, that his will be done on
earth as it is in heaven'. To this end we are praying for the
spread of the Kingdom of Heaven in the hearts of all people collectively and
individually. The paradigm of the Virtue Matrix provides us with a model to
positively address the problem of evil. The worlds answer to
evil is largely one of either compromise or of using evil to fight
evil. The power of the Virtue Matrix is that evil can be displaced by
understanding and dealing with the environment that allows evil
actions to occur. If you want to wipe out any entity you can either kill them
directly or remove or modify their habitat so that it no longer
sustains them. Jesus dealing with the problem of evil was profound and
deep. He did not treat people as the problem, he called on
them to remove themselves from the problem. Repentance - a
paradigm shift into virtue from vices. He then dealt with the
core of the problem of evil directly through the cross. From a practical point of view the profound solution Christ has
offered for the problem of evil has seldom been understood and
applied by the Church. As with Law, People have been regarded
as the problem. But the Virtue Matrix offers the option of dealing tactically with the
environment of vices. Its not only Criminologists who are aware that a person's life
environment predicates much in the way of crime, but the fact is
that their vice environment is of far more profound and fundamental
influence. Modern Occupational Health and Safety principals are successful
in that they deal with the problems in the environment rather than
the problems of the individual, even though an individual may have
been seen as accident prone. To analyse and address a vice environment is a far simpler task
that examining dealing with their physical environment with a view
to preventing evil acts. It is often very difficult to address
a physical environment. the Virtue Matrix can deal with a vice
environment very powerfully. worldforces will generally put up a spiritual field of influence using
the vice of fear. It is anticpated that such a field of
influence if it is strong enough will prevent many individuals from
taking a certain unlawful actions. the Virtue Matrix also deals in
fields of influence, but instead of running fear, it will run
tactical virtues. First up is the vice analysis. Why is an evil act being
performed. What different combination of vices in peoples
hearts are providing an environment for such a thing to occur. Where is the will of the person? If the person chooses to hold to evil against a strong flow of
goodness, it is a much different situation to a person holding to
evil in a strong flow of vice. The latter is simply addiction
and can be dealt with by the divine flow from the Father' heart
within the Virtue Matrix. etc However, there are societal issues that allow and perpetuate
problems. The beauty of the Kingdom of God or the Virtue Matrix
model is that it is whollistic. A spirit of generousity will
not only be perceived and flowed spiritually, it will manifest in
action in physical giving. There is no divide as spirit/word is
interactive unlike spirit/matter dualism. The early church pioneered hospices for the sick and mentally ill
not out of fear that God would punish them if they did not do acts
of charity, but as a manifestation of the love that was within their
hearts. |
