Pauls own account for his history in Galatians, does not mesh with the
spin of the book of Acts.
Acts vs Galatians
The
book
of Acts (together with the Pastoral Epistles and the general editting
and redaction of of Pauls authentic letters) was an integral part of
the early
ecclesiastical Church's effort to reinvent Paul.
In
the book of Acts, Luke portrays of Paul as:
- not meeting the qualifications for
apostleship
- having a positive
attitude towards the Law of Moses and continuing to adhere to it
- submitting to the Authority of the
Ecclesiastical Authorities in Jerusalem
Which of course does not match up with Paul's own witness in
Galatians.

vs Galatians - the Jerusalem Council )
